Summer Edit 2: A Guide to Natural Comfort
Silk × Cotton | Discovering Gentle, Quiet Light

The materials we wear each day reflect how we wish to live. For Spring/Summer 2025, we’ve chosen a blend of silk and cotton—crafted with chunky-knit techniques and structured textures—to find balance between delicacy and simplicity. The result is a quiet, natural glow that brings softness and depth to everyday wear.

Silk

Silk has long been considered the finest of natural fibers. Spun by silkworms during their metamorphosis, it carries the purity and patience of nature. Made from protein-based threads, silk is soft, smooth, and breathable. It regulates temperature and moisture, keeping you cool in summer and warm in winter—an ideal year-round fabric.

Rich in 18 amino acids beneficial to the skin, silk is gentle and non-irritating—especially suitable for those with sensitivities. Its natural sheen expresses quiet luxury, needing no decoration to reveal its elegance.

Cotton

Cotton is perhaps the most familiar and comforting of natural fibers. It grows in warm, sunny climates, blooming into soft white fibers that are harvested, spun, and woven with care. Its texture is honest and grounding—warm, soft, and gentle against the skin.

Made of cellulose, cotton is highly absorbent and breathable, ideal for humid summer days. Its simple beauty lies in how it feels: calming, steady, and quietly reassuring—just like a daily companion.

Silk × Cotton

The warmth of silk and the earthiness of cotton come together in a fabric that is soft, breathable, and quietly luminous. It’s strong yet refined, adapting well to changing temperatures—perfect for transitional weather. With a natural glow like soft morning light, it draws you in without trying too hard.

At HUNDR., we continue to study natural fibers and explore how materials can move with the body. From the first point of contact with the skin, we aim to redefine what comfort means in modern everyday life.
